What an adventure! The trip notes are very clear about what to expect, so I definitely recommend reading them carefully before you book.  It seemed that everyday we experienced something absolutely new… don’t quite know how Samantha and her team managed that!

The pace of the trip was exactly right for me; I particularly enjoyed when we took advantage of events that spontaneously presented themselves, such as invitations from local folks to join them for a meal or even their wedding!

The vehicles used on this tour are very comfortable, which turned out to be more important than I had anticipated.  Also, the fact that Samantha has local language skills was definitely a benefit.  This company really does “walk the talk” when they say they are striving to Guide in an ethical and sustainable way by only hiring local people and using local services.
